Unfortunately for T1, they had several opportunities to win, but they couldn't control the flow of the game, leading to losses in the later sets. In particular, during the third set, T1 brought in Gumayusi to overcome the team’s slump and secure their initiative, but they couldn’t stop BNK FearX's momentum.
■ Below is a summary of the Q&A conducted with T1's "Doran" Choi Hyeon-jun and Coach Kim Jeong-gyun, held after the match.
Q: You lost to BNK FearX. What is your overall assessment of the game?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): There are many games left, so we need to focus on tier management and on improving our performance.
Doran: It’s disappointing to lose. Overall, our performance was lackluster, so we need to think more deeply about our approach.
Q: How did you prepare for the match against BNK FearX?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): We couldn’t find a strong timing until the third set, which was a factor in our loss. We could have composed a better composition with our champions, but we didn’t execute it well.
Q: Gumayusi played in the third set. What was the reason for that?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): I saw that our bot lane player has clear strengths and weaknesses. In the first two sets, we wanted to take control at a strong moment, but that didn’t happen, so we decided to bring in Gumayusi during the third set.
Q: Was there any special preparations you shared with Gumayusi before the match?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): There wasn’t any special order that we gave to Gumayusi. We discussed the match details before deciding to put him in.

Q: The next match will take place on April 25th. There’s some time left. How do you plan on preparing during this period?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): Our priority is to focus on tier management and on improving our performance. We’ll mainly focus on improving our gameplay. The players are doing their best to raise their performance, and I believe we’ll see good results in the next match.
Q: In the third set, Doran picked Yorick. What are the strengths of Yorick, in your opinion?
Doran: I think it’s really good in the laning phase. Although it hasn’t been meta for long, and I haven’t had much practice time, there are many aspects that seemed promising, so I chose him.
Q: Will the bot lane roster continue to be flexible, like in today’s match?
Kim Jeong-gyun (Coach): We’ll have to see. We need to observe this a bit more.
