NCSOFT is set to launch new games including TL

NCSOFT will release ‘Throne and Liberty (TL)’ and various new games within this year.

NCSOFT is currently working on the final steps to release the AAA game 'Throne and Liberty' (TL). ‘Throne and Liberty’ is an MMORPG developed by NCSOFT and will be released on PC and console in the second half of this year. Regarding this game, CEO Kim Taek-jin of NCSOFT said, “It is a game with no right answer. It is a world where anyone can create and enjoy various stories in their own way.”

Closed beta test of 'Throne and Liberty' began on May 24th. Depending on the results of this test, it is expected that the outline of the release time will be a little more specific. NCSOFT publishes TL in Asia (excluding Japan) such as South Korea and Taiwan, and Amazon Games publishes in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan.

In addition, NCSOFT is preparing to release new titles in various genres. NCSOFT released five new teaser videos in February 2022. The genres of the new works released at the time were diverse, including RPG, action, and interactive movies.

And NCSOFT announced in its first quarter earnings conference call that it would release five new titles, including Throne and Liberty (TL), in the second half of 2023. 'PUZZUP: AMITOI', 'Blade & Soul S', 'Battle Crush', Project G. 'PUZZUP: AMITOI' is a mobile puzzle game, and 'Blade & Soul S' is a character collecting RPG. Project G is a real-time strategy game, and ‘Battle Crush’ is an action brawl game.

NCSOFT is expected to be very busy in the second half of 2023, as new works of various genres, including the AAA game 'Throne and Liberty' are being released. The specific release date has not been revealed yet, but once the release date of 'Throne & Liberty' is decided, the release date of the rest of the games will naturally be set.
